Back Injury Prevention
The typical back related injury is one of the most common injuries. While most of the injuries occur at work, some happen off the job. This program covers a variety of simple practical techniques and behaviors for common workplace situations. It can help your employees learn simple, everyday behaviors for proper alignment and avoiding injuries and down time caused by unsafe lifting.

Bloodborne Pathogen
This course explains safe work practices for employees who work with human blood or tissues. This course is required for personnel who work with human blood or tissues. It covers the definition of blood-borne pathogens, protection from exposure including universal precautions, and spill cleanup procedures.

Defensive Driving
This 4 hour course teaches your employees practical knowledge and techniques to avoid collisions and violations, and to choose safe, responsible driving behaviours.

This training course reviews how electricity works, how to identify electrical hazards at work, and safe work practices.

Exit Requirements; Planning Ahead; Fire Protection
This program assists employees with a general awareness of the emergency safety features in the workplace and how to respond during emergency situations, including the importance of having, and understanding, an organization’s Emergency Action Plan and Fire Prevention Plan.

Fall Prevention
This program will review some of the most common types of accidents that occur in the workplace (Slips, Trips and Falls). Students will learn about safe walking surfaces, stairs, ramps and the proper usage of using a ladder.

Forklift (Powered Industrial Truck) Training
This 4 Hour course is for lift truck operators and employees who work in close proximity to lift trucks. Training covers the safe operation of the many types of powered industrial trucks that are used in the workplace. The trainer uses a combination of formal instruction (classroom), practical training and an evaluation of the operator’s performance in the workplace.

Hazard Communication
This course reviews the dangers hazardous materials present in the workplace and how employees can protect themselves against injury or illness. Reviews the purpose and obligations of the OSHA Hazard Communication Law, how to interpret warning labels, and the use of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

Hearing Protection
This program trains workers to identify and reduce the effects of noise in the workplace. Course reviews the effects of hazardous noise on an employee’s hearing and how to identify sources of hazardous noise. Also included are the purpose of audiometric testing and an employer’s obligation to explain the test results to employees.

Heat Illness
Heat Illness is a serious medical condition resulting from the body’s inability to cope with a particular heat load, and includes heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heat syncope, and heat stroke. This program covers risk factors, procedures for identifying, evaluating, and controlling exposure, importance of frequent consumption of water, signs and symptoms of heat illness, and procedures for responding to heat illness.

Introduction to OSHA
This introductory program provides employees with a general awareness of the purpose and function of OSHA, including reporting and record-keeping requirements, adherence to standards, and inspections.

Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
This program provides employees with a general awareness of hazardous energy and how to control it. Lockout/Tag out refers to the specific practices and procedures that protect employees from the unexpected start-up of machinery and equipment, or the release of hazardous energy during service or maintenance activities.

Machine Guarding
OSHA’s most frequently cited regulation each year is the general requirements for guarding machines. This program will teach participants to identify various machine hazards as well as the application of OSHA’s machine guarding requirements to specific equipment. The class will also discuss safe work practices when using various types of hand and power tools. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to identify hazards associated with machines and proper guarding requirements to help minimize and eliminate worker exposure and injuries.

Office Ergonomics
Offices are the last place many people think about accidents and injuries occurring. This program will teach students the physiology of the body and how it works, common ergonomic conditions, parts of the body most susceptible to ergonomic problems, posture and neutral positions, modify the work environment, and stress reduction.

OSHA Recordkeeping
Program guides employees through OSHA requirements for recordkeeping and compliance, as well as distinguishing between OSHA recordable and non-recordable cases and how to make that determination.

Portable Fire Extinguishers
Designed to train individuals in the use of portable fire extinguishers in the workplace. These easy-to-use devices could make the difference between a small emergency and a major catastrophe. The course reviews how to determine when or if an extinguisher is appropriate and explains the Fire Triangle, P.A.S.S. Technique, Fire classifications, and types of extinguishers. Live Hands–On fire extinguisher is included with this course.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
When work practice and engineering controls are not enough to ensure a safe environment, a hazard assessment is performed to determine what personal protective equipment is required to protect a worker’s health and safety. This course presents a thorough understanding of workplace PPE practices including assessment as well as selection, use, and care of the equipment.

Respiratory Protection
