
This course is a community-focused, comprehensive training program in emergency resuscitation for the lay rescuer. The course will teach students how to perform resuscitation to victims of sudden cardiac arrest, as well as those who are unresponsive or choking.
Certification: 2 years
Instructional Time: 4-5 hours
(3-4 for re-certification)

This course is intended for individuals who do not work in the healthcare field but require or desire CPR knowledge and skills, such as emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, and babysitters.
